We are proud to announce Daniel Pemberton, one of the talented composers from our BBC Production Music library, scored the highly-anticipated, crime-thriller film The Counselor! As a matter of fact, the Ivor Novello winning and multi-BAFTA nominated composer was chosen by the film’s director, Ridley Scott, to score the music for the film.

Pemberton works predominantly in film, television and videogames. He’s scored countless Emmy, BAFTA, Grierson and RTS winning comedies, documentaries and lifestyle shows and worked with Oscar-winning directors and editors. You can check out some of his notable credits below:

The Counselor, which is based on the first original screenplay by author/American literary icon Cormac McCarthy (No Country for Old Men) is out now in US theaters. It will premiere in the UK on November 15, 2013. The film stars Michael Fassbender, Penelope Cruz, Brad Pitt, Cameron Diaz and Javier Bardem.
