Top 5 MasterSource Composers (Part 4)

We’re approaching the end of our five-part series spotlighting our top composers from the MasterSource music library. To recap, our list has featured Paul Taylor, Jamie Dunlap, and Michael McGregor so far. In Part 4, we spotlight the versatile composer and songwriter, with an eclectic background: Matt Hirt.

Hirt has written music from baroque to reggaeton and everything in between. His wide stylistic range can be partially attributed to his past experience playing in a variety of ensembles, ranging from symphony orchestras to experimental combos. Hirt’s music is distributed worldwide by numerous publishers and music libraries. His music can also be heard almost daily on network and cable TV. Hirt’s most recent work for our production music library can be heard in Brazil 1 (MSTR260), which features the country’s most popular music styles.
